African Striped Bag

A miniature version of the African Stripes quilt that I can carry with me.  This was originally intended to carry my knitting projects, but it’s become the perfect tote/briefcase/shopping bag/overnight piece - a real workhorse (and sometimes the odd knitting project does make its way in there).  Making my own bags affords me the opportunity not only to choose the style but also the function that I want.  This has pockets just where I know that I’ll use ‘em - I can get to my cell phone quickly and easily, grab a pen without searching for it, hook my keys for ready access, and stow papers collected on the go in the large back pocket.
