Beach Glimpses, 2005

This was made almost entirely with the Baby Lock Embellisher. I made a “fiber soup” of many different yarns and fabric strips, and then needle felted them onto batting. The umbrella and chair strips, and the long grasses are dupioni silk, which reacts in most interesting fashion to the barbed needles of the Embellisher.
