As the colors and jagged edges might suggest, I was in quite a mood when I designed this. Though its bold energy is prominent, there are also some subtle features; each string and fret is a 1/8" strip of fabric quilted with up to 7 rows of stitching using different combinations of thread. The quilted grid also contains different colors and combinations of thread.


I like the 3-D quality - the guitar seems to be coming out of the quilt.


This was a finalist in Houston (2008).
